Les Fleurs du Bengale Fabric by Pierre Frey
Inspired by an emblematic 19th century printed Braquenié fabric known as "Toiles des Indes", this embroidered linen mirrors the traditional composition with its intertwined scales and flowered pattern. It feels like a mountaineous scene where small flowers grow in all directions.
This is a medium pattern very heavy in weight, fabulous for upholstery and sophisticated curtains. A design favourite and wonderfully expensive.
Available by the linear metre.
